 Over 160 thousand sq. metres have been cleaned out within a period of a month of voluntary labour - ‘mesyachnik’ in the Chechen Republic. This work was carried out from March 15 to April 15. The purpose of ‘mesyachnik’ was to clean out each corner of the republic. " The Chechen president gave his strict instructions on what to do. District heads and heads of municipalities set up their local working groups and made a plan of measures. Over 160 thousand sq. metres have been cleaned out within a period of a month of voluntary labour. I’d like to say that people living in Achkoy-Martanovsky, Groznensky, Kurchaloevsky and Shalinsky districts are noted for their hard-working.

 Ramzan Kadyrov, the Chechen Republic president, stated that all ministers, deputies and other officials must pay particular attention to the public work and help people to solve their problems. "Officials ought not to sit in their cabinets; they ought to communicate with people and take an interest in their living problems,” – Ramzan Kadyrov said. According to the president, public servants must fight against alcohol and drug abuse.

 140 terrorists were eliminated in the Chechen Republic last year. The Chechen president now states that the republic is one of the Russian peaceful regions. “Today our republic is as safe as other Russian regions are. I’d like to say that we live in much safer region. However, the world faces the threat of terrorism every day and we are not an exception,” - the president said.

 Three years passed since a day of Ramzan Kadyrov’s appointment as the Chechen Republic president. These three years changed the republic and its international relations. The republic underwent positive changes thanks to its young president – Hero of the Russian Federation. It was unbelievable three years ago, but Ramzan Kadyrov formed his ‘strong’ team and began to improve the republic life, attracting everybody by his new ideas and projects.
