 System of registration of voters and participants of referenda is an important part of voting process. Inhabitants of the Chechen Republic, who had to leave the republic because of the wars, began coming back. That’s why it is important to hold this registration for the purpose of securing rights of the Russian Federation voters living in the Chechen Republic.

Islamic Medicine Center’s first anniversary |

 Islamic Medicine Center has marked its first anniversary today. Among those present at the ceremony were the Chechen president Ramzan Kadyrov, Shakhid Akhmadov, Minister of Health, Muslim Khuchiev, Mayor of Grozny, Adam Shakhidov, Imam of the central mosque, and others. Ramzan Kadyrov said: “The Chechen Republic Islamic Medicine Center provides medical care to many people. Over 60 thousand patients have been cured in Islamic Medicine Center since its opening date. This clinic’s patients have been cured by the nonconventional methods of treatment, i.e. by means of reading the Koran.”

 Over twenty new projects will be built by the end of 2010 in the centre of Kurchaloevskiy district, Salman Zakriev, a deputy of the Chechen Parliament and controller of Operative Staff, said following a meeting with the Chechen president and his colleagues. “Our goal is to change completely the centre of Kurchaloevskiy district.
Many old buildings will be pulled down there. Modern museum, a big sports centre, a shopping centre, social establishments and a Celebrations’ House – all this will be built instead of the old buildings. Besides it, we plan to build parks, parking places, fountains etc.,”-S. Zakriev informed.

 The Chechen Republic president Ramzan Kadyrov has issued new decree on establishing the Russian Federation Commission’s UNESCO Committee in the Chechen Republic. This Committee has been established for the purpose of maintaining integrated cooperation of the Chechen Republic with UN. The Committee’s functions are to assist the republic’s participation in all programmes and ceremonies which are held by UNESCO, to inform and consult the republic law enforcement bodies, organizations and scientists working in UNESCO’s sphere, to perform all tasks set by the Russian Commission on UNESKO etc.
