 Speaker D.Abdurahmanov held an official meeting with members of the Russian Federation Central Electoral Committee in the Chechen Republic Parliament. Assessing results of recently held municipal election was on the agenda. Among those present at the meeting were the head of the Chechen Electoral Committee Ismail Baihanov and head of the machinery of the Chechen Parliament Islam Baihanov.

 The Chechen Republic President Ramzan Kadyrov held a meeting with members of the Cabinet who had been elected by Chechen Mayors and deputies. Among those present at the meeting were the State Duma deputy Adam Delimhanov and the head of Electoral Committee Ismail Baihanov. Ramzan Kadyrov congratulated all present on successfully held elections to institutions of local self-government. He noted that the people living in the republic trusted their local authorities and had hopes for the best.

 Anti-terrorist operation is being performed in many Chechen districts. They are: Dattyh, Chemulga, Alkun and Nesterovckaya (Ingushetia). The Chechen Republic President Ramzan Kadyrov stated: “I was informed that six terrorists had been killed. The rest of the terrorists still try to hide in the forest. This territory was blocked and officers are combing it now. According to my knowledge, the total number of the group of terrorists is nearly 10-12 men.”

 The Head of RCEC Vladimir Churov and the head of Russian Federation Ministry of Internal Affairs Rashid Nurgaliev properly appreciated preparations of the Chechen Republic for the municipal election which will be held on October 11th. The Chechen Republic President Ramzan Kadyrov and quests visited one of the electoral sites in Grozny today. Here they answered journalists’ questions.
