 The Chechen Republic Government increased its budget to develop small and middle-sized business this year, Shaarani Shuipov, chairman of the Chechen Republic Government Business Committee, informed today. He said: “165 million roubles were allocated for the realization of programme ‘From surviving to prosperity’. 140 million roubles were allocated for this purpose in 2009. This financing will be used for lending and granting it to new businessmen; it also will be used for building new business centers and incubators etc.’

 The Federation Council of RF appointed Suleiman Geremeev new senator from the Chechen Republic executive authorities. The head of the republic noted that S.Geremeev was ‘fair man of principal’. ‘We face many tasks which must be performed with the help of State Duma, Federation Council and Russian Government. I am sure that Germeev will continue to work for the welfare of the republic,’- Kadyrov said.

 Islamic Medicine Center has marked its first anniversary today. Among those present at the ceremony were the Chechen president Ramzan Kadyrov, Shakhid Akhmadov, Minister of Health, Muslim Khuchiev, Mayor of Grozny, Adam Shakhidov, Imam of the central mosque, and others. Ramzan Kadyrov said: “The Chechen Republic Islamic Medicine Center provides medical care to many people. Over 60 thousand patients have been cured in Islamic Medicine Center since its opening date. This clinic’s patients have been cured by the nonconventional methods of treatment, i.e. by means of reading the Koran.”
