| Ceremonies devoted to memory of Akhmat Kadyrov will be held in the Chechen Republic |

 The meeting of Organization Committee (OC) on arranging and carrying out the ceremonies devoted to memory of Akhmat Kadyrov, the first Chechen Republic President and Hero of the Russia, and 64th anniversary of the Victory in the Second World War has been held in Grozny. According to a decision of the OC, the ceremonies dedicated to tragic date – the fifth anniversary of destruction of the first Chechen Republic President will begin on the 8th of May.
Many religious ceremonies will be carried out on the 8th of May, informed Ramzan Ibuev, the assistant to the Chechen Republic President. The Chechen Cabinet Ministers, the MPs and the heads of city and regional administrations will visit the tomb of Akhmat Kadyrov on the 8th of May too. Odes Baisultanov, the head of the Cabinet – the chairman of the OC, informed that a meeting of the Chechen Parliament and Government devoted to memory of Akhmat Kadyrov will be held on May 9, 2009 in the Grozny City State Theatre and Concert House. A.Kadyrov was assassinated in a bomb attack in Grozny at a Victory Day celebration on May 9, 2004. A special ceremony will be organized for veterans of the Second World War in the Chechen Republic Labour and Social Development Ministry. The military parade will take place on the territory of the Chechen Ministry of Internal Affairs. The best employees of law enforcement bodies will be decorated. www.Chechnyatoday.com |
