 Alexander Khloponin has been appointed an Authorized representative in the Northern Caucasus Federal District. The appointment of Alexander Khloponin will actively promote development of economy in the region, the Chechen Republic President Ramzan Kadyrov has said at his press conference in Grozny today. ‘Alexander Khloponin gained the Russian president’s confidence; it means he can solve problems of the regions,’- he explained. “The Russian Federation president charged Khloponin with solving economic problems of the district. Khloponin is former businessman, and I am sure this appointment of Alexander Khloponin will actively promote development of economy in the region,”- Kadyrov also stated.
The Chechen president regards creation of the Northern Caucasus district as new effective way of changing the regions’ life for the better.We’d like this reform will solve economic problems of the Northern Caucasus, which are well known in the whole Russia, the Chechen President declared. However, he thinks these administrative changes in the South will make businessmen delay their investing in the region. “Investors have particular point of view. And now I think the Federal Center must help us to create favorable conditions for the investors in the region. I hope Alexander Khloponin will help to solve our problems and attract the FC to invest in our economic projects,”- R.Kadyrov concluded.
