 The Chechen Republic Government increased its budget to develop small and middle-sized business this year, Shaarani Shuipov, chairman of the Chechen Republic Government Business Committee, informed today. He said: “165 million roubles were allocated for the realization of programme ‘From surviving to prosperity’. 140 million roubles were allocated for this purpose in 2009. This financing will be used for lending and granting it to new businessmen; it also will be used for building new business centers and incubators etc.’
For example, a business-incubator will be put into service in Urus-Martanovsky district and a rehabilitation center will start to work in Znameskoe village this year. A business-incubator will be built and put into service in Grozny in 2010 too. All this will give people the opportunity to find employment with new business units.Shaarani Shuipov also noted that the Chechen government had worked much to develop and support small business last year. This question was under the Chechen Republic president’s personal control. Ramzan Kadyrov’s right policy allowed to minimize the crisis in sphere of small business. Shuaipov said the committee helped to train and retrain the businessmen. In 2009 nearly 3000 businessmen were trained in the above-mentioned committee’s branches.
