 The Chechen Republic Government approved the republican target programme ‘Boxing Support and Development in the Chechen Republic for 2010’. This decision was reached by the head of the Chechen Cabinet Odes Baisultanov. The programme is aimed at developing the amateur and professional boxing in the republic, increasing the efficiency of sportsmen training and popularizing the boxing on the whole.
Today there are 8100 boxers in the Chechen Republic; 1500 from them are training in boxing clubs; 36 boxers are near to reach ‘the Master of Sport’ Level. The total number of coaches is 64 in the republic.Performing the programmes will raise the living standards of the younger generation, improve their health and sports development in the Chechen Republic.
