 The Chechen Republic president, Ramzan Kadyrov, charged with checking up the legality of the foreigners’ long-term staying on the territory of the Chechen Republic. This question has been raised at the president’s meeting with Magomed Daudov, the vice-chairman of the Chechen Republic Government on Law Enforcement Bodies, and Ruslan Alhanov, the head of the Chechen Republic Minister of Internal Affairs.
“Streets of Grozny are full of beggars. Practically they are not inhabitants of the republic; they are not the native people. We have always been too kind with ‘foreign beggars’. But several days ago a beggar- woman tried to kidnap a child. They will try to repeat it again if we don’t make foreigners obey the Russian Federation Law on our territory,” - R.Kadyrov said.He emphasized that he didn’t mean the foreign companies’ employees (or other law-abiding foreigners) who were working in the local business or building spheres.
