 The Chechen Republic president, Ramzan Kadyrov, held a meeting with the vice-chairman of the Chechen Government, the Chechen Republic Minister of Agriculture, Abubakar Edelgiriev. They discussed a course of sowing work in Chechnya. Abubakar Edelgiriev informed R.Kadyrov that sowing work was going on very well in spite of frequent rains.
"Farms Director always informs me about the situation. He reports that they have no problems now. The work is being carrying out practically around the clock,”- Edelgiriev said.8 574 hectares of the Chechen fields will be sown in spring. 24 types of beans will be sown for an early crop. The president took an interest in the agriculture development too. He emphasized that it must be much better this year. “We set up a base for AIC development. It is being financed very well. We must be shown desired results this year,” –the president stated. He noted that agriculture development would significantly bring down the level of unemployment in the Chechen Republic.
