Charity events dedicated to a Childrens Protection Day

A Children’s Protection Day has been marked yesterday by organizing some charity events in the Chechen Republic. A competition among children to find the best picture drawn on the ground was held in front of the Chechen Central mosque named after Akhmat-Hajji Kadyrov. This competition was held to paint a rather clear picture: “Protection of Children-Invalids is our duty”. Children-Invalids from different Russian invalids’ societies and associations enter the competition. Winners of the competition were given cash bonuses and other participants were also provided by nice presents.   A Children’s Protection Day was marked in the Chechen Press House too. There was a grand ceremony dedicated to this day in the conference hall. The Chechen Ministry for Foreign Affairs, National Policy, Press and Information was an initiator of this celebration. Children dressed in national clothes of different countries were dancing and singing songs there.   Children’s pictures were exhibited at the end of the event. After it, all children, participated in the celebration, were given presents and taken to visit “Glory Avenue” Memorial in Grozny. Besides it, a regional department of “United Russia” PP provided orphans (and those children who had no father or mother) with a pay-free visit to all children’s parks this day. A celebration party was organized for the children living in the Psycho -Neurological Children's House №2 and a kindergarten “Staraya Sunzha” № 35 too. Representatives of different children’s protection organizations brought gifts for these children. Moreover, they provided all children’s houses with toys, illustrated magazines, books and clothes.  Notes: The Chechen Republic president, Ramzan Kadyrov, congratulated inhabitants of the republic before a Children’s Protection Day cerebration. He noted a rising birth rate in the region and said:  “This fact is a way for the dynamical development of our region; it is our confidence in the happy future.
