The Chechen Republic president, Ramzan Kadyrov, comments on the recent incidents happened with the Chechen schoolchildren in the summer camp and fans of “Terek” in Ingushetia. Ramzan Kadyrov said: “I was informed that the Chechen schoolchildren had been assaulted in Tuapse, the Black sea. Seven Chechen teenagers were admitted to hospital with cranial-cerebral traumas and fractures of upper and lower extremities.”
“Teachers said that an assistant director of the camp, Boris Usoltsev, was drunk and started a fight with three Chechen schoolboys. In turn, these boys informed that Boris Usoltsev had been insulting them and after it, the camp’s director (the camp’s director is father of B.Usoltsev) left the camp for a while and returned with the large angry crowd of his local supporters that assaulted the Chechen children. The majority of the Chechen children escaped injuries in the attack thanks to the teachers from Rostov, Omsk and Chuvash who hid the Chechen schoolchildren among their pupils. Buses from the Chechen Republic were directed to Tuapse to return the children home,”- the Chechen president noted. “At the same time, the local people of Ingushetia attacked the Chechen football fans of “Terek” (the Chechen football team) on the territory of Ingushetia on Sunday. Football fans of " Terek” were coming back from Vladikavkaz after a match between “Terek "and “Anzhy that day”. Ingushes began to break window glasses of the buses that the Chechen football fans were traveling on. Officers of the local Ingush law enforcement agencies made no attempt to stop the attack. Several Chechen football fans were assaulted most of all. The Chechen buses were terribly damaged. Ingush attackers were throwing stones at the Chechen football fans and accompanying the buses till they reached the Chechen Republic’s border. Besides it, Ingush attackers were trying to make the Chechen buses’ drivers cause a car accident on the road. The Chechen Ministry of Internal Affairs sent an official letter to the Ingush Ministry of Internal Affairs,”- R.Kadyrov informed. “…Russia is well known for a strong unity of its nations. All actions aimed at breaking this unity are the serious threat to country’s stability. The Chechen Republic governing bodies are taking a number of measures to improve friendly relations between neighboring southern regions of Russia. However, everyone must remember that the extremism poses a direct threat to the society… We’ d like to hope that those attacks organized in Tuapse and Ingushetia will be legally investigated and all guilty will be punished to prevent such aggressions in the future,”- the Chechen president said.
