Turkish presented three hairs of the Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.) to the Chechen nation to keep it forever. The holy relic was presented to the Chechen Republic by the Prime Minister of Turkey for the purpose of showing Turkish nation’s respect for the Chechen people. The relic was taken to Grozny by the Chechen Diaspora to Turkey headed by chairman of the Chechen committee “Sivas” Aikhan Erguven. The Chechen Delegation was warmly welcomed at Grozny airport by the Chechen Republic head Ramzan Kadyrov, many official figures and thousands of local residents. After it, the relic was taken to Grozny Central Mosque named after Akhmat-Hajji Kadyrov. Thousands of people were accompanying the relic on the way to the mosque. Some fought back the tears as they saw the holy present but some burst into tears openly… “Before, this relic was kept in Muftiyat of Istanbul, Turkey. We, representatives of the Chechen Diaspora, asked the Prime Minister of Turkey to present the holy relic to the Chechen nation. Turkish PM answered in a month and today we are here on the Chechen land with this relic,”- Erguven told. “It is first case when Turkey gives such an invaluable present.
