The Chechen Republic president Ramzan Kadyrov, a member of Russian Federation Delegation in Syria, held a meeting with representatives of the Chechen diaspora, directors of some companies and mufti of Syria, Akhmad Badruddin Khasun. Akhmad Khasun thanked R.Kadyrov for his productive policy aimed at developing Islam and creating all the conditions for its followers in the Chechen Republic.
A. Khasun noted that he had been a friend of Akhmat-Hajji Kadyrov. He emphasized that Akhmat-Hajji Kadyrov had been always following the way of jihad.A.Khasun told Ramzan that Akhmat-Hajji Kadyrov once said in Mecca: “The Chechen Republic and its people will have far better living and working conditions than others.”
Mufti said that he had given the detailed information to the President of Syria, Bashar Asad, about his personal impressions after visiting the Chechen Republic. He informed Bashar Asad that a number of mosques, madrasaa,
hospitals, schools, multi-storey buildings were built in the Chechen Republic.
A.Khasun emphasized that people of Syria were glad that Ramzan Kadyrov had proved that Islam was the religion of peace, good, creation.
He also thanked R.Kadyrov for his help in establishing close international relations between Syria and Russia. Mufti of Syria asked R.Kadyrov to thank the Russian president, Dmitry Medvedev and the Chairman of the Russian Government, Vladimir Putin, on his behalf.
An agreement on some investments has been discussed at the meeting too.
Mufti of Syria expressed his desire to make an umra (hajj in Mecca) together with R.Kadyrov.
Besides it, R.Kadyrov held a meeting with the president of a well known Syria company, Mr. Marvan al-Khureb, and vice-president of this company, Zhamaladdin al-Zabir. Zhamaladdin al-Zabir, the Chechen, expressed his desire to establish close relations between the Chechen Republic and Syria.
Notes: The Russian Federation president, Dmitry Medvedev, appointed R.Kadyrov a member of the state delegation for holding official meetings (negotiations) with the president of Syria, Bashar Asad. It is planned that a number of agreements on international cooperation between Russia and Syria will be reached as a result of these meetings.
